An in-depth discussion of your medical history and symptoms. We may request blood tests and specialized functional medicine tests. • q-iconDuration of treatment

How long will it take to treat a chronic problem? Please watch the video on this. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tHlWrJv8QKo

The general rule is, for every year you have had a problem, give it a month of treatment. It depends where you are in the disease evolution progression how long it will take to get your body back to a state of normal physiology.

Knowing the underlying cause also helps, which is why I use functional medicine tests to determine the cause and treat accordingly, thereby reducing duration of treatment.

  • q-iconDo you have a special rate for family members?

Family package – Book an acupuncture appointment at the same time as a family member and enjoy a 20% concession on both appointments.

  • q-icon I only have a hospital plan do you offer any program to manage my medical spend since you are my main health care provider?

Yes, we have limited packages for our Dynamic treatment Program available. . This offers you treatments at a significant reduced rate for a monthly fee. Please ask reception for more details.

  • q-iconCostly

My goal is to help you get better in the shortest possible time, thereby reducing the cost to you as much as possible. I use very high quality therapeutic products to achieve this. In my 17 years of practice I have discovered and researched the most effective remedies. However this sometimes does come at a cost. The initial goal would be to help you resolve your symptoms then for maintenance purposes move on to less medication and a more budget friendly therapeutic route. If you are working on a budget please let me know so we can work around this.

  • q-iconWhat if the medical aid is not reimbursing me?

It would be best to forward the rejection email from your medical aid to: info@drdebbie.co.za . Title subject: “Medical aid queries”.

  • Q.MEDICATION - I am using conventional medicine. Can I still use natural medicine?

A.Yes, though certain medications will interact and Dr Debbie will take that into account when she prescribes remedies for your specific condition.

  • Q.Explanation of medication

A.If at any time you are unclear why any medication was prescribed, please email drdebbie@drdebbie.co.za for clarification.

  • Q.Homoeopathic medicine

A.Best to take the drops under your tongue. If you using 20 drops then keep for a few seconds then swallow. Granules (white pillules) will dissolve under tongue.

    How to take the remedies:

Granules (small white pillules) Take a thin layer just covering the bottom of the cap away from meals (about 20min).

Drops: Generally 20 drops equal a dose

Acute conditions: Have 1 dose every 1 hour for the first day, then see how you feel the next day. You should see an improvement, and you can reduce the frequency to that recommended for “chronic conditions”.

Chronic conditions: Take 1 dose 4 x daily

  • Q.Can I give my medication to someone else with the same symptoms?

A.The medication prescribed is specific for the condition you have come in for. It might not work as effectively for another person. The Homoeopathic remedies will treat mental, emotional and physical symptoms which differ from person to person.

The homoeopathic medication is safe to use even for babies.
